Who writes them
The 911 Water Damage Fix editorial team writes, reviews and updates every page. No page is written by a named outside expert, and none carries reviews or ratings.
Where the figures come from
Local figures come from public data: the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (housing age, renters, apartment buildings, home values), FEMA's National Flood Insurance Program claims and National Risk Index, FEMA disaster declarations and NOAA climate normals. Each figure on a page names its source and year, and small counts are shown as ranges.
Cost ranges
Cost ranges are built from several published cost guides and are shown as typical ranges with their units. They are not quotes. The written estimate from the company that inspects the damage is the only price that applies to a job.
AI-assisted text
Parts of the local text on city and town pages are drafted with an AI writing tool from that page's own figures. Every draft is checked automatically before it is published: each number must match the page's data, banned claims are rejected, and drafts that read as filler are rewritten. The editorial team reviews samples of each page type.
Updates and corrections
Pages are rebuilt when their data changes, and the review month at the foot of a page moves only then. To report an error, email hello@911waterdamagefix.com with the page address; corrections are made within five business days.
